Privacy notice
Who we are
This notice explains how Manx Drain Solutions uses personal information you give us through this website, by phone or by email. We follow Isle of Man data protection law.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect what you choose to tell us: usually your name, phone number, email address, the address or area of the property, and details of the problem. If you send photos, we keep those too.
Website visits
We use Google Analytics to count visits to this website and see which pages are useful. It records things like the pages viewed and the general area a visit comes from, not who you are.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you advice or a quote
- To arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do, and to invoice for it
- To keep a record of work done, such as survey reports, which you may need later
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only where it's needed for your job, for example with your insurer or a public authority if you ask us to, or with companies that provide our email and IT services. We'll never share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to any work are deleted after a reasonable time. Records of work we've carried out are kept for as long as we need them for guarantees, accounts and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it. Email info@manxdrainsolutions.com or call 07624 202220.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner at inforights.im.
